A dvd magazine is basically a dvd that runs exactly like a print magazine except that it’s features are moving image instead of written word. An example of that would be reading an article about the oil crisis in The Times but in Pro Bono Publico you would actually be watching a documentary on the issue. Or reading about a new band in Hotpress but in Pro Bono Publico you would see live footage of them play as well as an interview. It’s quite simple really!
Well you just place Pro Bono in your DVD player and a menu will appear. We will have a section for short films and another one for music videos and so on and so forth. Therefore if your bored on a Friday evening and want to see what's happening in town you can just go to our event section and it will all magically appear in front of you. Easy Peasy!
Pro Bono Publico is distributed all over Dublin in shops, cafes, public houses, colleges, and students union shops. We have our own mountable wall stands so you won't be able to miss us!
This is the most exciting thing about Pro Bono. If you know you are quite talented and amazing and have an interesting film/animation/music video or anything of that nature send it into us and you could have a chance to showcase your work to the whole city like never possible before.
